can you describe an action that is legal but ethically wrong?
is every ethical action also legal? is the law not ethics?
the only guide that business managers need to consider.
Not all legal action is ethical,,, you have to think first before applying any actions..
Some actions may hurt and affect the dignity of oneself even though you have no choice but to do it.Its obviously unethical to the eye of the people, specially in public issues. Conscience is your number one rival…
-one of my example for this is the power of the president of the republic..
As I watched the movie 2012, in the story …the upcoming global distruction is going to be out of control.But the president and the goverment kept it as a secret because people in the entire world will collapse in panic,only those chosen people may kept that secret to control the situation and find a resolution as soon as possible.But what happened is..in the climax of the story..the real
tragedy happened..and its too late to announce it in media..Many people died without any preparations.Except for those chosen one and wealthy people.. can you imagine..its unethical because
people has the right to know the exact information of the real situation but
the president only did what is right for the people based on his perceptions and principles.,
In our constitution..a law is a law..
We have to take care of certain legalities before opening any reactions and actions as well.

2. Is it possible for an employee to be successful in the
workplace without acting ethically?
Ofcourse..theres a possibility basing on his determination and principles.It may depend on his actions and strategy. But for me acting unethically is a pride for them..they just only want to follow what is right in their heart and mind without the regards of their co worker.One mistake could affect his/her entire career without acting
ethically..failure is part of our life..thats why we have to become more open minded dont let our pride control us.
